I work with organizations who have identified a need to be more inclusive but are unclear how or where to begin. I support the development of strategic planning and encourage a deep dive into organizational culture and current practices. By aligning organizational values with actions, I help develop competencies and capacity so that inclusion efforts can be sustainable.
Prior to initiating or furthering anti-racism, equity and inclusion, an audit of the current organizational culture and values needs to be explored. Using a Forward Facing Approach this stage sets the context for future work.
Using a number of tools and processes, I create a directional pathway towards improved anti-racism practices. I provide support and consulting to your executive team, Human Resources and other key people.
Based on your anti-racism, equity and inclusion practices and policies, I move you towards being a leader in your industry. By leading with your example, I will show you ways to generate equity and inclusion in your broader community.
Much of what is needed today, is the creation of a braver space to allow for anti-racism unlearning. Professional development and organizational training is provided through consulting, workshops and presentations.
Individuals have different lived experiences which results in everyone having a different understanding of anti-racism, equity and inclusion based on their own lens. Sometimes, leaders can become stuck and can benefit from individual consulting sessions to move their understanding of these issues in a supportive way.
