Rumina Morris is an esteemed expert in Anti-Racism, Anti-Oppression, Equity, and Inclusion, offering consulting and coaching services to leaders and organizations dedicated to catalyzing positive change. Rumina has had a distinguished career spanning over two decades in leadership roles within the human services sector.  She currently serves as the Director, Reconciliation, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion with the City of Kitchener.

A registered social worker, Rumina has consistently advocated for social justice and human rights, leveraging her leadership role to draw attention to systemic inequities and support transformative change. She is committed to lifelong learning and unlearning and is recognized for her dynamic and engaging approach. Rumina facilitates critical self-reflection and raises awareness about unconscious biases by creating a space that encourages others to do the same. 

Rumina offers invaluable insights to organizations seeking to advance their commitment to equity, inclusion and human rights.  She is a certified ISO 30415 Diversity and Inclusion Service Management practitioner.  She was the recipient of the 2022 Ontario Association of Social Workers Community Contribution Award and was also recognized as an honouree of the 2024 City of London’s Mayor’s New Years Honour List.  Last year, Rumina was awarded an Honorary Degree from Fanshawe College for her significant community impact.
